    « Great for reflux! »
My 4 week old son slept very well when he falls asleep on my chest, but the second I would put him down, he'd start grunting and straining. And I don't mean the normal little grunts, strains, and other noises that babies make, I'm talking about his face turning red and very loud grunts. This would occur every 5-10 minutes and made sleeping in the same room as him impossible.

I highly suspected acid reflux that was bothering him, so I took him to our pedi and she confirmed it. It wasn't a severe case, but it was enough that he (and we) didn't sleep very well. I tried elevating his bassinet but could only effectively get it up to 10 degrees, but doctors recommend 30 degrees.

It was impossible to get the bassinet inclined to 30 degrees and not have the little guys slide all the way to the bottom. And he would be crooked as well. I looked everywhere for a solution and even contemplated buying an AR Pillow (a big wedge and a harness) but it was very expensive (over $90).

I stumbled upon this sleeper and immediately ran out to the store to buy it. It snapped together very easily - only took my wife and I about 5 minutes. We washed the removable cover and were ready to test it out.

It's only been one day but what a difference! He's SOOOO much quieter, I don't even know where to begin. Just knowing that he's not straining and grunting like before makes me so happy! I almost cry just thinking about how much better he seems to be sleeping. Poor little guy, all those days, where he had to suffer through the acid reflux.

It's the perfect height to be placed next to the bed so you can just take a peek at night to see how the little bugger's doing. It's collapsible and very portable so we can bring it downstairs as well.

In summary, I don't know why there aren't more product like this out there. It's made my baby so much happier and I would've gladly paid $1000 for this if I had to. It's difficult to see your little one suffer. Thank you, Fisher Price!!

    « A Godsend!!! »
Our infant son has reflux and during the first few weeks of his life he absolutely refused to sleep on his back in a pack-n-play or crib. At night we had to put him in a car seat, and during the day he had to be held constantly upright to keep him from losing sleep and being cranky. My wife and I had read good reviews about this product and decided to try it, and we couldn't be happier. Our son naps during the day and sleeps at night in the rocker, and often sleeps for a period of 3-5 hours at night. He also sits in it comfortably when awake so my wife can get work done around the house, and it allows us to pull him up close to the dinner table so we can watch him while eating and not have to do the usual switcheroo or eating with one hand like we had done before.

The rocker is a nice neutral yellow color, is easy to clean, and comes with a cute little stuffed bunny toy. I'm almost sad to see him outgrow it soon, because he does so well in it! We're definitely keeping this stored away for our next child.

    « Best Baby Product! »
My daughter is 11 weeks old and suffers from severe acid reflux. She cannot lay down flat or she vomits and chokes. It is definatly the scariest thing we have ever been through! She slept in her bouncy seat for about 7 weeks. She is now moving/wiggling around quite a bit and the bouncy seat is just not safe for her anymore (even with the belt on). I got the sleeper about 6 days after I ordered it. It was SUPER easy to put together, did it by myself. I set her in it and she was asleep within minutes. She LOVES it! She sleeps through the night now and is taking longer naps during the day. We are ALL getting more sleep now! It is very easy to move around the house and it fits perfectly next to my bed. It keeps her upright so she cant choke and if she rolls to her side she is still able to breathe through the mesh. It is HONESTLY the safest sleeping option for babies that cant lay flat or that do not like their crib. The best baby product we've purchased BY FAR!

    « Awesome! »
This is the best baby product I own. My girl is almost a month old and would not sleep anywhere but with me holding her. I have a fancy swing, a pack and play with the newborn napper, and a crib and none of those would do for her. I would get her to sleep in my arms and sit her down and within 5 mins she would be awake. It was really starting to drain me. But I found this product and she has slept so good in it. I even got to eat dinner last night without having to hold her!

« Great product for the money! »
We won this item in a raffle when our son was already 7 months old. I'd not known of this item previously, or I would have purchased it to use from birth. Our son is currently about 18-19 lbs., but I'm certain we will be able to get some good use out of it before he hits the weight limit of 25 lbs. Our baby has had some reflux issues and often couldn't sleep unless he was in his swing (we have the Fisher Price Zen Swing, which we also love). The Zen swing has a weight limit of 25 lbs. (just like this item), but our son was outgrowing it lengthwise and had starting sitting up more and moving so that it was unsafe to operate the motor. I had considered giving this item away because I thought he would be too big for it, but not so. Our baby fits great and, what's more, he really seems to like napping in it. He prefers it to napping in his crib and I can get my work done and have him right next to me.

We usually keep the sleeper in the family room, which has thick carpeting. Because of this, I am able to easily slide the sleeper around the room - often with baby in it. The baby is fairly deep in the sleeper, so I do not fear him falling out when I am moving him across the floor. It is very stable, especially with the weight of the baby. If I take it to another room, I put the baby in his crib temporarily while moving the sleeper as I don't think it was intended for carrying the baby that way. Our baby really likes when I sit in a chair, with him in the sleeper facing me, and I rock the sleeper gently with my foot. He watches me and slowly drifts off to sleep. If he is awake, I can keep him close by, and he is comforted by being able to see and/or hear me. Another advantage is if I'm watching television, I can face him away so he does not get overstimulated (and I can watch an occasional show or the news). We have not used it for night sleeping since our baby is fairly used to sleeping in his crib now, but for daytime napping this is now my go-to item. In fact, my son is sleeping in it right now as I'm writing this and rocking the sleeper with my foot.
