I purchased this for my grandaughter's 3rd birthday (she's a "purse fanatic" like her mother!) :c) It's about the right size for a 3 year old, even though she tried to put every small toy she owned in it! The packaging was a bit testy, I never saw so many plastic ties and tape on one toy! Overall my grandaughter was pleased with the gift. The talking Dora clasp was the "icing on the cake".
