Love It!

We have this same car seat that we bought for my first son who is now 2 1/2. We got it for him when he was about 6 months since was outgrowing his infanct car seat. He has been using it for 2 years now. LOVE IT! My other mommy friends always complain about their straps getting tangled, seats stained, etc. None of those probs with this little baby! The material is great for wiping down - I have only had to wash the cover once and that was a few weeks ago. We just purchased a matching one for our new baby who is also 6 months and outgrowing his infant carseat. If you have bigger babies this is for you! My 2 1/2 is so tall he wears 4T (3 ft tall, 32 lbs) and he still fits perfectly in his car seat. Not only that, but the quality of padding is phenominal! I see people complain about not being able to move their seats back when it is in rear facing position and all I can say is: that is the case with all these convertable ones. Suck it up for a few months until you can turn them forward facing. You will be happy you bought this one.

Great seat, for an excellent price.

Wife wanted to spend $200 for a carseat.
I said nope.
So she bought an expensive one for her car while I got this inexpensive one for my car.
We both wish we had bought this one.
The end.

Very pleased!

After reading a couple of reviews we were leery of making this purchase, but we are very happy that we did. There was one reviewer who reported that this seat would not fit in their '02 Mitsubishi Galant. We have an '03 Galant and it fits in our backseat perfectly! The seat is lightweight and the best thing is that we will be able to use it for some time to come. Our son is 9months and we put him in it as soon as we got it and there was no squirming or fussing. This is a great seat at a great price! I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends!

good light seat, doesn't fit a prius well in rear facing position
»
my son likes the seat and it is light and doesn't take up as much room as our britax, but I'm not sure how safe it is in my prius. We have tightened it down as much as we can with the straps, but when we push the top of the seat it falls backwards. Right now we have the front seat backed all the way against it to prevent it from falling backwards. It was also difficult to follow the installation instructions.

Awesome!!

Let me start off by saying I LOVE this car seat! I have always trusted safety 1st above other brands, but this is by far the best car seat I could think of having. The fact that it is convertible is very convenient. The only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that you have to put the seat belt under the padding. At least that's how we did it so it wouldn't be uncomfortable for my son. but it's wonderful!
