the accusharp is small and manageable and seems to do a good job of providing a clean cutting edge.
while it won't replace professional sharpening, it does keep a knife in good cutting order.

Product I received was not like the picture I ordered from,but product
does what it is designed for. Be careful using and follow instuctions
closely and do not attempt to sharpen knife the wrong way as a slip in using product could cause cutting ones self badly.

Simple, inexpensive, and it WORKS

I read a review of the AccuSharp Knife Sharpener that gave it very high marks. Having found it on Amazon I immediately purchased one. It works very well, sharpening every knife in my kitchen. The finger guard looks flimsy but it works. The AccuSharp is lightweight yet sturdy and looks like it will last at least as long as my current set of knives. I recommend this product because it does its job well at a very reasonable price.

Easy to use manual knife sharpener

I was reading a cooking magazine that reviews products. In the issue I was reading, they were comparing different knife sharpeners. This was their favorite hands down. The same company makes an electric knife sharpener for $159.00, but they liked this $10 manual one better. It works well. I used it on a knife that has been dull for several years and it brought it back to life.
